Default if you had to downsize your collection, what would stay?

1....I paid a PENNY for Mickey..this was my last 1952 Topps card. Also, I still recall the thrills from seeing his HR's....
Especially, his 565 ft. HR over the centerfield wall at Griffith Park (Washington).

2....my very 1st BB card purchases in 1947....the World Series in'47 made me a Yankees fan.

3....my very 1st Babe Ruth card in 1949

4....my nicest T206 card

5....1949 Bowman & 1949 Leaf Paige cards....we can only wonder how good he would've been, if he was given a chance
at age 20 (1926).

6....E90-1 Honus Wagner (from Frank Nagy)....since I'll never own a T206 Wagner.

7....1904 Eastern League Champions (AAA)..I declare them "World Champs", since there was no 1904 World Series.

8....Last but not least....Michael Joseph Kelly from my favorite set

FINALLY....SCOTT INGOLD and LYLE JOBES....you guys can fight over all my Cobbs

Bruce,

Great cards. Actually, before this thread was started, I actually put 5 cards in storage to protect against possible thieves.

There were only 2 baseball cards among them. The first is an autographed '53 Topps Mickey Mantle. The second is an '82 Topps Traded Cal Ripken Jr.

1965 Topps Joe Namath Rookie.

1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookie.

1979-80 Topps Wayne Gretzky Rookie.

Peter

Yes, The Cartwright Cabinet is from the recent REA. I posted it on the Memorabilia Forum under the 19th century "Cabinets, CDVs, Dags, etc." thread. I'm proud to have won it - poor, but proud!

E95 Bender (Porttait of Bender unique to the set, and what a great hat!)
E90 Bush (First E card I ever purchased! though it came with a Dockmans Shean)
E96 Jennings (love the clean crisp image of one of my favorite ballplayers!)
E104-1 Nadja Davis (Nadja's are a classic back!)
T206 Hindu Lindaman (Hindu's... another classic!)
