In addition to my September needs (listed above), I have a few cards for sale as well. I have two e107s to part with, both are in approximately FR-GD condition and display very well. Scans of both can be seen at the following links:

www.geocities.com/redmaccie/Images/e107Thomas.jpg
www.geocities.com/redmaccie/Images/e107Hartsell.jpg

Email me if additional scans are needed. My site tends to crash easily so let me know if you can't reach these. The Thomas has a very clean "150 Subjects" back and Hartsell has a slightly smudged but mostly clean blank back. All reasonable offers for one or both will be considered.

I had a few other cards to part with as well:

e93 McGraw SGC 40 - $120
1948 Musial SGC 50 - $220
1920 w519 Frankie Frisch rookie - $20

Thanks guys,

Brian

Just wanted to let anyone who tried to contact me between roughly 5-10 PM earlier tonight that my email had crashed and several unread emails were lost. Coincidentally, this happened right after I made my previous post above

I'm selling a 1914 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson on eBay. It's in very good condition. In what seems to be implausable, this is one of a bunch of cards that were left to my father. He passed away last August, and we are all getting some of the cards. I know a little about them. I was seven when my father inherited them. I am also getting married next year, and am trying to make a few bucks.

This is a 1914 #103. The writing on the back of the card is right side up. I know the 1915's had upside-down writing on the back. (I already received 1 e-mail saying that this card is incorrect with the right-side-up writing on the back).

The other two cards I have are 2 t-206's Meyers and Geyer.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5121503299

If anyone lives in the New Jersey area, and would like to inspect the card(s), please e-mail me.

I am down to 2 T202s. any grade will be considered, preferably VG/EX or presentable lower grade:

Too Late for Devlin Matty/Devlin (Rustler)
Tom Jones at Bat Gasper/ MacClean

I need 24 T206s VG/Ex or less:
Addkins, Armbruster, Ball (NY), Bridwell (cap), Cassidy, Dessau, Doyle (throw), Evans, Flanagan, Tom Jones, Kleinow (NY catching), Leach (port), Leach (field), Magee (port), McGlynn, Merkle (port), Poland, Shannon, Al Shaw, Snodgrass (bat), White (MinorLer), Willett (bat).

I do have some T206 I could trade if interested.

If anyone has any Piedmont Art Stamps (T330) they are willing to let go of, I would be interested.

Just a reminder to board readers, I do not advertise that I accept Paypal on my auctions but will it accept it if you mention you are a Net54 reader.
thanks

By now most of you have probably seen the hoard of N172 cards that came my way a few weeks ago.

While I dont have them in a format where they can be dropped into a shopping cart, they are all priced, and I can quote out wantlists more easily.

All poses are scanned. Some cards had duplicates so the one you see may not be the only one in stock, or may not be available but the same pose in a different condition, or the same may be available. I am trying to keep up with marking the images "sold" once they are gone. There are still about 970 cards available, plus my original inventory of over 200 cards that were in stock. Still have tons of Hall of Fame players.
In about a week give or take a few days, I will have the remaining cards integrated into the existing database, and you will be able to see exactly what is available and price, and be able to just order online.

I am not trading on these right now, and I am not accepting credit cards for these.
I am more than happy to field your calls and talk to you about the cards. I can be reached at 310 471 1959, and the cards will be on display at Hollywood park this coming weekend as I will be set up there.

ORIGINAL OLD JUDGE SECTION OR

THE NEW OLD JUDGE SECTION

I also have a nice selection of N173 Old Judge Cabinets in stock, please take a look.

You can email me at gfg@gfg.com

Dave

ps. I dont use paypal, if someone will send me an address, I would be happy to contribute to the cost of maintaining this board.

I have the following harder to find baseball books. Looking primarily first for trade. I can send a scan of any book to anyone interested. Have many more titles, including much fiction and later non-fiction.

Palmer, Athletic Sports in America, England and Australia, 1889. 712 pages, over 300 on baseball. Beautiful color and black and white illustrations. Much on World Tour. This copy if very nice, with a.e.g. Small puncture at bottom of spine, professionally repaired, else very nice condition. Owner's name on front free endpaper.

Ruth, How to Play Baseball, Cosmopolitain, 1931. Good in chipped dust jacket. Book is very hard to find in dust jacket.

Seymour Church, 2 copies, one inscribed by George Wright. (I have to keep one, so I am willing to trade the other)

Elwood Roff, Base Ball and Base Ball Players, Self-published 1912. One of the harder to find baseball titles of the early 20th century. Book is very good condition, except front bottom half of front cover has water staining.

George Moreland, Balldom, 1914, hardcover, good condition.

Johnnie Evers, Baseball in the Big Leagues, Reilly & Briton, 1910. Near fine in very good dust jacket. Very tough to find in dust jacket.

Everett, Changing Base. One of the first fiction titles. Fair condition. Has been professionally restored with new backstrip and new endpapers. Very tough.

Cap Anson, A Ball Player's Career. 1900. Good+, with no dust jacket, as issued. Spotting to spine that obscures “A Ball”, plus some on back. Marbled endpapers. Gift inscription (September 20, 07) on half title.

Babe Ruth, The Home Run King, very good in fair dust jacket, with bottom 1" missing from spine dj. Very hard to find in dj. 1920 title.

And just so the card collectors won't fall asleep, Meardle D310 Pacific Biscuit. very nice condition.

Looking for in trade: rare baseball books: Won in the Ninth in dj, Bride and the Pennant in dj, Thuoey, Peverelly, Baseball ABC, McGraw 30 years in baseball in dj, Pitching in a Pinch Putnam in dj; and T4 Obaks of Vancouver, Victoria players (I know, I'm dreaming....) or any other Vancouver/Victoria early baseball ephemera

I'm selling most of my remaining old judges singly, with no reserve:

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=psa1&sort=3&page=1&rows=50&since=-1&showpics=1&stab=0

It's a bonanza for everyone, as long as everyone mostly collects N172 commons in very low grade. Enjoy!

Well it looks like I may finally be getting the T205 Cobb I need -- so I'll need to pay for it.

So..... I am selling/auctioning a bunch of stuff including some on Ebay. For starters I have:

Mayo Cut Plug: Jimmy Ryan SGC 40/3
Scarce T205s: Donohue PSA 4
Doherty (white sock) PSA 4
T205 "common": Carrigan PSA 5
T205 HOFer: JENNINGS PSA 6 (one of the nicest 6's I've ever seen -- maybe if your lucky you can get a higher grade if you like to play that game)
1913 National Game - GC ALEXANDER "Rookie" (might want to check with Andy Baron on whether its really his RC) low grade
T202s: EVERS/CHANCE "Evers Makes a Safe SLide" PSA 5
Dooin/Magee "Donlin Out at First" PSA 5

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=misunderestimated&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50

SCANS FOR EACH ITEM ARE INCLUDED IN THE LISTING.

Also I'm thinking about selling some JACK JOHNSON (first black heavyweight champion Boxer) cards I have and wonder what the best way to list them on Ebay is .... if anyone is interested or at least knows how to best auction please email me at bhodes@rcn.com . I would think Johnson material would be ready to take-off since Ken Burns' upcoming documentary is devoted to him.

I just saw this one go for more than expected on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5121693579&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

I have one in about the same condition, stampings lighter and slightly used (very slightly), in the original box. If anyone's interested, it's available for $75, shipped and insured

I am currently in the market for a 1903 E107 Breisch Williams Eddie Plank rookie card, to go along with my recently purchased 1903 E107 Breisch Williams Honus Wagner rookie card. If any of you have one for sale, or know anyone who is selling one, any condition, graded already, just email me with a scan of the front and back, and a price. Also looking for a 1909 E90-1 American Caramel Shoeless Joe Jackson Rookie card. Again, any condition, but already graded, email me with a price and scans of the front and back!
Email address is BlueWingTeal6@cs.com

Thanks,
Tony

Thanks to Quan for a couple of very undergraded but very appreciated E94s. This Forum is a great place for purchasing cards, kudos to Bill for giving us this place to make deals.

1859 Baseball Match @ Hoboken Woodcuts (SUPER COOL & ODD!) - EX - $100
1883 Boston Baseball Champs Woodcut - EX - $35

Prices include Priority Mail shipping with Delivery Confirmation in the US or standard shipping to Canada. These are too large for my crammed safes and too large for my scanner, so please don't ask for a scan, b/c I don't want to damage either by scanning parts of a page at a time. For this reason, I have been conservative on the grading. These two complete Harpers are GREAT with SUPER Baseball Woodcuts - I just don't have room for them and am trying to stick to caramels right now. BTW - will trade for caramel card(s) - always love to trade! Thanks!!!!
