My favorite pic in my collection. Jackie Mitchell and family. Jackie was the girl who struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

Not pre-war but "during war". Pic of Cal Ermer while in the Army. Cal was manager of several champ. minor league teams and manager of the Minn. Twins.

Another of Cal in the Army.

Here are the rest of my 1909 Columbus photos. The first two with their T210's.

Below is a RPPC with Honus Wagner in the middle. Does anyone know who flanks him on the right and left.

Below is from the Wagner Estate. Probably a photo taken during a carnival.

I love the fact he doesn't mention a pitcher. Smart player. Maybe he didn't want that pitcher to throw the next pitch down his throat upon their next encounter. Yes, isn't that a neat item. I've had it for 13 years or so.
.
Edited to add my name. I forgot it.

Nothing as impressive as some of you have posted but here is a circa 1915 photo of Ed Barry. Ed appeared in about a dozen games for Boston from 1905 to 1907.

Does anyone have the picture of him in a rundown between 3rd + home with about 7 players trying to get Jackie. I believe it was against the Phillies. By the way, he scored (too many cooks)!

No picture of the run down, but I will post a picture of an "original" photo of Jackie, that I "promise" will cause some controversy in this forum. I will try to get it posted this weekend some time. Knowing how volatile things can get in here, I hope it doesn't cause things to get too nuts...Maybe it won't, we shall see.

More of a test to see if I can finally submit a picture (was having problems).... Nothing really rare.

Unfortunately, I'm having problems linking a great photo of Nuf Ced's 3rd Base I just won in REA. I can't copy it as a readable file for some crazy reason.....oh well.

Here are Ray Collins and and a pic of our home away from home, Fenway Park c. 1915

Here's another one for you, Dan.

Supposed to be from Harry Hooper's collection, but I can't prove it.

Hey Dan,

I did get it from ebay a while back. How did you get to link that pic? I keep getting some nonesense that it is a non-readable file every time I click and save it, then try to paste it here.

Dice K is absolutely KILLING ME RIGHT NOW !!!!! Blows 5 runs in the first, they get it back, go ahead by two, then he just gives up two more.

It's only May 3 and my nerves are shot....I can't type any more.

Thanks for posting that pic.

Greg

Greg, I just went to REA and right clicked on it and saved image to my computer then I went to imageshack and downloaded it.

I knew I'd seent that photo before...I'm pretty sure I was an underbidder on that one.

As I was typing this the Sox just nailed it down.
