Default bowman chrome mini

So I accidentally bought a couple chrome mini refractors of Byron Buxton and Luis severino. It caught me by surprise because I don't know alot about the mini series or that it was a real thing. The cards look great and low numbered refractors but I can't find much info on them. All I've found is that the first release was after the bowman chrome release so they didn't sale like expected. Is the value any lower on the minis? Is it just a fad or will these have possibilities of being as valuable as the chrome in years to come?

Chrome minis are not as widely collected and normally lose value compared to their standard size counterparts. I would not invest in them, but if you find them cheap (sometimes on clearance through Topps's website), you might be able to make money on the numbered inserts or autographs. I wouldn't hold them though, thinking they'll go up. The market for last year's cards drops precipitously for almost every set out there, regular size or mini.
