If you're a Babe Ruth/Lou Gehrig autograph expert, please explain what you mean? Thank you.

Also, what is your real name? Thank you.

Perhaps JJ is referring to the bidding pattern where c***d (3) has 21 of the 23 bids. If it's not that, I don't know what.

Max, you could be right! I just went by his initial question, "Auto on Ebay - Real or Fake???"

Greg

Hmm. Forgot the headline as you've noted; now I'm completely confused.

I noticed the seller has not sold many items. Was wondering if you guys thought this was real or not.

Please, as per the rules of this forum, post your real name.

Second, we are all wondering what you mean by "Anyone else think this is crazy?" What is your opinion on the autographs?

I'd like to own it, but don't really like seeing one very low feedback bidder placing so many bids and driving up the price. Looks like shill bidding.

Guy with low feedback has bid in a similar way with other items. Check his bid history.

The only reason for 1 guy to legitimately bid that way so early in the auction is to get a feel for what the high bid is. Better to know now, than find out last minute, and lose out on an item you really want. That appears to be what he did here. Could be a shill, but with his bid history, I'd guess he's just a new guy.
