Cobb initially fooled me at first. After looking at some examples though, it really isn't close. It's too straight of an autograph, as if it was written with an imaginary straight line as a guide :P

I don't know much about the autograph market so maybe I'm way off here, but...his eBay history shows he's sold signatures of every famous person who has ever lived, short of maybe Jesus Christ. Doesn't that set off some small alarm with people? Don't people at least look at a seller's history before bidding at those levels?

I was almost going to bid on the Cobb as the green ink is a rare autograph, most were done in black.

No because as Chris W used to say “ autograph buyers aren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer”

All fake stuff

Be patient Cobb autographs in green are out there everywhere. If your patient you can find nice examples for under 1000. I have seen alot of Green ink Checks and have owed a few over the years.

Mildew? no. Cobb for whatever reason later in his life seemed to like the green ink.

How are people allowed to get away with garbage like this on eBay?

Ebay has profited enormously from the sales of forgeries for the past two decades.

It's a haven for sellers of forgeries.

On any given day, more forgeries are sold on Ebay than authentic autographs.
