Default Medwick auto value?

Single signed Joe Medwick ball, the only real fault to the ball happens to be right on the auto!

Can anyone help me figure out a fair price to ask for this?

Thanks, Ken

Yes there's damage to the ball, but there it really doesn't affect the signature itself that bad. It hurts the visual appeal of the ball more than anything. I'm no expert on prices, but given who he is, his accomplishments, and that fact that he's been dead for 45 years there is certainly a demand for it. There is no reason in my opinion to think that you couldn't get anywhere between $200-$400 for it primarily because the black spot is going to kill the visual appeal.
