Default WOW!!! SGC a Winner in my book!!!

Posted By: Alex Tymchuk

Wow!!! Talk about customer service... I've spent 25 years in the service sector and I've never experienced anything like SGC hospitality!!! I flew to Newark, NJ (SGC headquarters) last week to drop off some cards. I was hoping to get the nickel tour of the facility and 'maybe' 10 minutes of time from Sean Skeffington, VP of Operation. Are you kidding me... not only did he have Brian Dwyer pick me up at the airport, Sean spent the "ENTIRE" day with me. I got to meet Micheal Goldberg and all the graders, then Sean took me to lunch and at the end of the day back to the airport... did I already say WOW!!! SGC has my vote from Atlanta!!!

Great story!!!

I'm fortunate enough to live only 1/2 hour away from SGC so I am able to stop up there and hand deliver my cards anytime. The entire team from Dave-Sean-Michael-Derek-Brian-Bob-Scott and everyone else there is always very personable and I enjoy each visit very much. By the way, they do a very accurate job of grading cards as well!!!

I see Michael Goldberg is on the far right- hi Michael- but can't read the other name tags. Can anybody identify these four gentlemen so I can attach a name to a face? Thank you.

I met Brian at the Shriner's show last weekend and spent some time discussing vintage with him. He seems like a really nice and honest person. He directed me to a dealer with a large amount of cards I was looking for and even caught me on the way out and asked how I did. Nice to meet some good character guys.

Yes this is standard and EXCELLENT practice by SGC and seems to have been passed along since they started. Dave Forman and Scott did the same with me, spent the day, a great tour and lunch. It truly makes a difference. Touche SGC!

I really like SGC - - - but I am concerned about the abundance of light beer in that photo.
