Default Stunning Colorized Pics - 1917 Chicago White Sox!

Beautiful colorized photos from the 1917 Chicago White Sox. Shoeless Joe, Buck Weaver, Ed Cicotte and many others!

Default Nice try but...

Conlon cards did this 20+ years ago, nothing shocking here. The colors don't look real to me, looks better in the original b&w. Just my opinion.

Default Neat!

Thanks for sharing! Wish they would have included a pic of Ray Schalk, my favorite player from that 1917 team.

This is very timely. I have been scanning in all my Photo collection lately and decided I want to colorize some. I hadn't done this to any of my photos yet, but this helps motivate me to start doing that.

+1....I would have thought Rick Ferrell would have looked good in lavender. And I think he is borrowing Big Glove Miller's' glove....

I decided to play around tonight with colorizing a photo from my collection. Since you made a specific request and it was a fairly simple photo I chose to do this Schalk.

Here is the original:

Wow! How cool is that! Andy, thanks so much for including Schalk. What an incredible catcher he must have been. Love the portrait photo!

All my Best,
Ryan
