Default Clean Sweep Auction ending this evening 10/1/2014

A friendly reminder for one of our valued advertisers concerning their auction ending this evening. Good luck to all bidders and consignors. Here is a blurb they sent out too...

Clean Sweep Auctions auction is ending this evening.

Our current auction closes TODAY Wednesday October 1. Initial bids must be placed by 6 PM EST today. Bidders who bid on 10 or more lots can bid on any lot at any time. Unopened lots can be bid on at any time. The entire auction closes at the same time.

Prices are really all over the place, many very strong prices and also many potentially great deals. This is a definitely an auction to review carefully as there are interesting offerings in all categories in which we work.

Our auction opens up with a truly exciting card, the only Mint 9 example of the 1958 Topps Herrer(a) error. The card has been in the possession of our consignor for 20 years, and was just recently slabbed at the National Convention in Cleveland. A true 1/1, highest graded card. The rest of the auction is remarkably well balanced, with fine selections of great pre-World War Two baseball cards, many fine complete baseball card sets, a great selection of baseball autographed flats and baseballs, some interesting Presidential and entertainment autographs and some great baseball memorabilia, including a real 1973 Mets World Series ring and Mel Stottlemyre’s 1986 Mets World Series jacket.

Happy Bidding!

Shhh! Was hoping it go under the radar with the other BIG auctions going on.
I got outbidded last night on a nice pre-war piece. I dont normally buy pre-war, but it certainly been a nice addition, just feel its reached its value.
Been watching the Lincoln-Plank card, wow on it and that print error Herrera.

Herrer misprint error variation whatever one chooses to call it is pretty sweet. Congrats to Steve on some nice material in this auction.
