Default 1952 Topps OC value?

Question Gents, I have a Del Crandall PSA 9 OC and i see that some PSA 8 without the qualifier have sold for over $1,000. What would be a fair market on a 9 OC?

I'd say it depends how oc. He's really tough to find centered hence the premium on the 8s. Other than than centering, he's relatively common

Rule of thumb - price it as a PSA 7.

Cheers,
Patrick

No, I would say a 9 o/c is worth much LESS than a decent centered nice 7, right?

I'd list it for a little more than a psa 7 sells for and see what you can get. If a card has low populations of straight 8s and 9s I have seen qualified 9s sell at a premium to straight 7s. Maybe reach out to cmize, he seems to have a lot of cards like that.

According to Vintage Card Prices a PSA 9(OC) last sold for $241 (2016) and the average PSA 7 1952 Topps Crandall has been selling for $225.

As noted, depends on the centering. 95-5 and I wouldn't give it a look. If it is that bad and with the "Q," I'd score it a 6, at most. I'd take a decently centered 7 with no "Q's" any day over a 9 o/c.
