Default good, bad, and ugly

While sitting here avoiding homework I decided to look and see what was on the auction site over on yahoo from the one selling who is good over there with the handle of bullmuse. Anyhow I ran across this

http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/auction/82843764?aucview=0x30

I have been doing my homework on tobacco cards and I wanted to ask those of you who know more than I. Shouldn't Mayo's have black blank backs? Thanks Paul

Irrelevant to the color of the back, don't bid on high end Cap Anson cards where the seller specifically says he won't guarante authenticity.
