technology in electronics/phones/internet has greatly enhanced our lives the last 15 or so years...but no one has figured out a way to de-laminate stuff that won't damage the paper? damn shame with that beautiful walter johnson sig.

If I had that baseball I think I would be staring at it most of the time.

Here's a mock-up that includes some pieces I've acquired for a 'Johnson vs Burns' display:

Great stuff. Just incredible.

David,
On your Chesbro ball, is that J Honus Wagner and Charles "Deacon" Phillipe above him? If so, what is that ball and who else is on it?

I'll pile on with a few more as well.

Something old..

Something new...

Something a little musical..

Yes, Mark, that is Phillipe and Wagner. It's a 1901 Pirates reunion ball, signed on June 6, 1925. Barney Dreyfuss brought the team back together to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the NL.

WOW.
I am at a loss for words...

Can you show the rest of the ball?

Not necessarily the same caliber but this is my second favorite piece (my favorite is a Nolan Ryan ball my dad had signed for me, but no pictures):
