Some recent additions to the T206 team master set that I hope to accomplish....the Davis was found last weekend at the monthly Cincinnati show, and the Duffy cards were eBay purchases.

Got back a 48 card sub from SGC, not true pickups, but here are a couple highlights:

This W573 has the widest side borders I've ever seen, by far, which made me "gotta have it".

My scanner's iffy, so this one came from ebay.

This is the closest thing that I have seen to a traditional Negro League HOF'er card (not a postcard, photo, etc.) as it pictures Martin Dihigo in his Hilldale uniform (hard to tell from the scan), where he played from 1929-31. Every other Negro League HOF'er card that I know of pictures the player in his Cuban, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan, etc. League uniform.

Thanks to Rob Gutheil for this one. It's worth mentioning that Rob and I reached a deal after just a few e-mails. He didn't quote SMR, a price listed in VCP from six years ago, etc., nor did he try to squeeze every last possible nickel out of me. And he didn't ask that payment be made via PayPal gift or that I kick in $5 for shipping. A very refreshing break from what seemingly has become the norm. Thanks again, Rob.

No idea why I bought this card. I really don't like the set, but it was too weird and he price was right.

Someone must of had a rough night before this card was printed.

Just received from Dan Studebaker. Very typical of the kind of cards I like to collect - lower grade (and affordable) but presents well and has great eye appeal. Small patch of paper loss on reverse brings the grade down. I now only need one more card (Anson) to complete the N28 set.

Steve:

WOW, that Bresnahan has a huge top border without taking away from the bottom border, which appears to be normal sized.

Steve- if you ever have any interest in selling the Hippo Vaughn, please let me know.

I usually shy away from strange looking prewar cards but I coudn't resist this one, a 3-D Cracker Jack

T3's just back from PSA. I am soooooooo pleased they both got 5's. Clark goes in the HOF'er collection, Merkle may have to be sold to pay off other purchases, Dean and Jennings were B/S/T purchases.

Ended June with with deal with Cozmo Kramer (Eric) upgrading my very trimmed N172 Hamilton with a PSA5. Image is a little light but is actually nicer (a little darker) than the scan. Thanks Eric!
