Default Is PSA really authenticating autographs?

Are they really authenticating signatures like this? Or are they doing something else? There is not enough of any signature to authenticate. It is a line anyone can draw. So what are they doing? What is going on? Tell me that with a little practice, anyone can duplicate this line?

The COA is NOT an in the presence coa, it says in their opinion it is authentic. Can any exemplars help authenticate a squiggle? How many of these squiggle exemplars did they use?

Is this really autograph authentication?

Default Squiggly lines

Yes Travis, they are authenticating squiggly lines! Even upside down and backwards squiggly lines get graded! On E-bay please check Item #281 115 563 891 from dctradingcards. I'm not knocking the seller by no means; just the way the squiggly lines are slabbed!!! Sam Majors

The one you are pointing out (link below) almost looks like a backwards one of the original one posted, as you mentioned. That looks like one of my signatures when I don't care at all what I am signing .

It's not backwards but upside down (I assume, as it looks like Lars at least forms a semblance of an L)

there are no distinguishing characteristics with this autograph, it cannot be authenticated. anyone who wanted to could make a curved line like this indistinguishable from a real lars autograph as there is nothing inherent in this autograph to distinguish itself from anybodys elses attempt at a squiggle line.

Geez, Travis, is this thread of yours a direct misdirection in response to Leon's thread.

Please, say it ain't so.

Your timing is beautiful.
