Default Editorial Bruguera Spanish Babe Ruth Card

Regarding the Editorial Bruguera Spanish Babe Ruth Card, does anyone know how the dates were ascertained? Old Cardboard lists it as a 1940 issue:

http://www.oldcardboard.com/foreign/...cardsetID=1223

Most everyone else seems to use a 1942 date, such as here:

http://www.milehighcardco.com/LotDet...-Ruth-PSA-5-EX

Just curious if anyone knows why the 2 dates were chosen, and which seems to be correct?

Default SCBC uses 1942

While I don't recall the specifics, I believe the collector or dealer that originally convinced me to add the card to the catalog based the issue date on information found on the other 11 cards in the set.
