Default Help: What do I have here? ('50s (?) Brooklyn Dodgers coaster maybe?

Hi all--I found this while going through a recently deceased family member's estate. He did grow up in Brooklyn in the 30s-60s prior to moving to New Jersey. Anybody know what year/decade this might be from? I love the design on it and will have it on my wall shortly!

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if it's a coaster with that repeating design around the edge. The design looks like an opened tin can, so I wonder if your piece was affixed to the top of a can. Is it absorbent like a coaster or just "flat" paper?

I think it's a coaster. The open tin cans around the perimeter shows where "Da Bums" got their food from.
