Put me down also, and if any of the above back out, move me up. I have quite a collection of scrapbooks, programs and scorecards to accompany my cards.

I have an old scrapbook full of news clippings, pictures, and maybe even some supplements. How does one put a value on these scrapbooks ?

I have a massive scrapbook from the 1900's-1930's, with a majority of the focus on the 1910's. Not to highjack the thread, but if anybody is interested let me know....

Welcome to net54 Ty.

Put it on ebay for $1 and see where it goes... which probably won't be far.

Scrapbooks with old newspaper clippings will have a very nominal value to some. Now, if the scrapbook contains actual cards or supplements that were issued and are routinely collectible in their own right, then the value will be based on whether or not someone can safely remove them from the scrapbook to save them.

Thanks Doug. I was on pause from the hobby for the last 10-11 years. Raising my son became the priority. I really missed it and sure my collections took a set back but better late than never again.

a friend of mine bought several scrap books from the estate of Tommy Byrne. He bought the estate for other items and wants to unload the rest if anybody is interested. Larry

I still have my Dad’s scrapbook from the 1940’s. They are fun to look through. His had what I learned to be a 1948 Leaf Babe Ruth Supplement which I removed years later and framed to enjoy in my office. My Dad had no recollection of where he obtained it.
