Default December pickups

Might as well start this month. Bought in Nov, obviously, but just arrived. Nice 40's Bob Kennedy gamer. Bought from Probstein, so now I'm worried that I got shilled, but I absolutely love the bat.

Nice bat Ken -- that's a time period where the wood and the labeling really have a nice look.

I agree. I love these vintage bats, although the flame-burned early-80's display well, too.

I almost bid on a few of his bats last week but looked at the bidding history on each item and said the hell with it.

But anyways, very nice bat!

The Big Bear had quite a run for the Tribe from 1951 through '54.

I think early on the seller -- or someone like him -- was bidding; low feedback, they had 100% bids with probstein, and they put in dozens of bids at $2 increments. But in the end it appears I went head-to-head with another bat guy.

Not pre-War, but a cool little "training" item for the kids. Love the box graphics.

Default 1895 baseball puzzle

Just got this delivered today. Bought it off Ebay. This is my second one I have bought. From the Thompson Novelty company in 1895 a baseball dexterity game called "The baseball puzzle and teacher".

Hey Butch what do you think of this one?

Matt,
Send the iPhone photo to your computer, open it using Paint. Paint gives you and everyone else the opportunity to rotate the photo image. Save it and then send it from your computer. Give it a try. Fewer broken necks from straining to look at the image sideways...

BTW, I do this all the time because I have an iPhone

Great trophies, BTW!

Pick up this Stan The Man amature snapshot for my HOF snapshot collection. Thought this was really special since Stan is with two Dodgers fan and the fact they were the ones that gave him Stan "The Man" nickname. Love how it depicts Musial character.

2012 Giancarlo Stanton game used bat
Jeff Kent game used Dodgers bat- #31 of my collection I think
1995 Dave Winfield game used Indians bat
1921-30 Tom Connelly game used Yankees bat- tough bat for a Yankee collector since he only played in 1920-21. Died in 1941 at the age of 43.
