Default 1948 or 1949 Leaf

Does one back command a premium over the other in this set (copyright 1948 or copyright 1949)?

I am specifically interested in the Jackie Robinson card - but info given on the entire set would be cool and educational.

My apologies in advance if this was discussed before... I tried the search and didn't find the answer... and I do not frequent this section of the board that often.

Ted Z has written about this at length. Hopefully he will chime in. I'm not sure that there are cards of the same player with both copyright dates. But Ted would know for sure.

1st....have you read my article in Old Cardboard (Issue #9, pages 32-39) on this set ?
It's very detailed and should answer most of the questions you have on these cards.

And, I started a thread on this set here......

Also, please email me if you need additional info.
