Default Baseball Trivia:

This season there were three individuals in MLB uniforms who had a season where he hit over .700 (BA) in high school.

I'll give you the first one - Javier Baez at an incredible .771

Who are the other two?

Andrew McCutchen is one, I believe.

Correct! One to go...and, of course, it is the hardest.

based on the wording. I know it's probably a pitcher, or manager. For some reason I wanna guess Zach Greinke.. But I think that might've been in a summer league, so I'm probably wrong.

Nevermind. I think I caught the trick. It's Barry Bonds. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/10...iants-new-role The article does say he put on a uniform...

While you were correct to suspect the wording, the third .700 hitter is neither a pitcher nor a jerk.

I will provide one hint: His father played in the Majors for several years.

Barry Bonds wasn't a coach, was he? Edit wait, you said he wasn't a jerk, so there goes that. Because Bobby played a long time in the Majors.

Nope, nope, nope - I guess my hint was really what they call in the mystery business a 'red herring'.

Better, more-researchable hints: A Career .274 hitter in the regular season, he hit .308 in the post-season.

The answer is...

Well, come to think of it, Bonds is actually closer than that answer.
