Default March Pickups

I was about to post in the Feb thread when I realized it was the 1st. Thanks to Luke on the B/S/T here for these two great signed RC's.

Just snagged these on eBay. I've been looking a while for an unripped rip card from A&G.

I actually picked up this 1980 Ryne Sandberg Reading Phillies card a few weeks ago from Love of the Game auctions, but I had not had the chance to scan it before now. I am not much of a modern baseball collector, but I have wanted a Sandberg Reading Phillies card for a while now because that is the minor-league team I grew up with and the club closest to my house.

Back in January I picked up a box of 2014 Topps chrome to bust and it turned out pretty well. Pulled these two cards and the redemption card showed up today. Best box bust I've ever had.

Some more arrivals. I didn't realize the Bell was so wrecked, I'll have to upgrade it. Love Cuddyer's signature, reminds me of Killebrew.

I don't buy much modern these days, but I do like and buy the Heritage autos of the older/retired Pittsburgh players:

Hey Al. Yes, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I'm a life-long Pirates fan. Looks like the Cards, Cubs, and Buccos will be battling it out again this year! Opening day is less than a week away! Good luck.

Default 1980

Those are tough ones, Jim. I found the 82 Blackless, 84 Encased, 85 Minis, 88 Cloth and 88 Heads Up the toughest Topps 80s sets to complete.

The 85 Minis can be found in regular back, blank back ( two kinds) and red back only . The 88 Cloth were very tough until a bunch of uncut sheets turned up awhile back

Unfortunately, at this point of my Mets collectiing, the tough ones are all I have left to find.

The 88 Heads Up are very hard to find for a fair price.
