Default 1941 Playball - set complete!

I just finished my 41 Playball set and had to share with someone who would appreciate this fact (my wife thinks I'm crazy collecting/spending this much time on little pieces of cardboard). It took me me just under a year to do this (with the help of board members and ebay). I bought both graded and raw - submitted all to sgc. Average grade is a 50 or 4 (but the Foxx card is the paper version so it's graded down to Authentic for being hand cut). I need to buy a new scanner because some of these scans are really blurry, but here it is!

Default Congrats

Congratulations on completing this. You put together a beautiful set. I love the 41 Playball set. If I ever finish my 34 Goudey set I would like to start on this one.

Default T201

Well...also working on the t201 set. It's a little more challenging...more cards that are a little more difficult to find. The wajo is a killer!

As a side note, I was surprised to see how many names came up from this set in the Jackie Robinson movie. Kirby Higby and Ben Chapman were villains in this movie... Also a lot of guys who supported him too... It's like a little snapshot of history.

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.
