Interesting ND facts - Currently only one player in the majors is from ND - Travis Hafner. 3 previous all have WS rings (Helling, Erstad and Coste). Not to mention - Maris is from ND too.... Has to have more WS rings per capita than any other state. Coste authored an incredible book (33 year old rookie) - great read!! Erstad is also the only player to win a gold glove from both the infield and outfield.

Minot - sorry to say - nothing comes to mind. I spent several good years up north. And several cold winters....

In the late 80s there were good regular shows in the greater Fargo-Moorhead area put on by Mike Klinnert, who owned a store over in the Holiday Mall in Moorhead, MN.
