My favorite has always been the Keeler batting pose. It was the first T206 I ever bought...for $3.00 (vg-ex condition) back in 1979

Funny you said Pattee. That was the first one I bought (vg, $5.00, 1988) I like the Mordacai Brown portrait, I think because I always get outbid on him. Looking through them, it is really hard to pick one that you might like the best, they are all pretty nice. I am sort of partial to the Wagner though.

Chesbro - Not sure why I like it, I just always have. I have one, and doubt I will ever sell it. I just like it. I guess it is that face. Love the face.

Mathewson - dark cap. This was the first T206 I ever bought and it is still my favorite.

I've always liked Rucker, with the steel background. Maybe not my absolute favorite card, but a great graphic.

Any Giants player in a sweater. I thought I was the only nut job that liked the pink Oberlin card. It was one of the first t206s I bought because he was a Minneapolis player.

One of my few t206 cards, I think it is absolutely beautiful. I'm also partial to O'Neill of Minneapolis as well. Not to create controversy, but IMHO the truly pretty cards in t206 are few and far.

I'm partial to the ones that put a smile on my face........

Otto Knabe........is he hailing a cab?
Miller Huggins (Hands at Mouth)
Joe Kelly.......just because of his smirk
Rube Kisinger....because he looks like he's 100 years old
Hughie Jennings.......eee-yah!
Hal Chase (with trophy).......that he probably won after throwing a game

That being said, when friends of mine look through my collection (only about 100 cards so far)they all say that the Buck Herzog, Boston card stands out to them because it's classy

But my absolute favoriote is Nap Lajoie (throwing)with his sweater unbuttoned.........very casual and classy........he's great and he knows it!

Perhaps not the prettiest card of the set - but you have to give props to the one guy daring enough to sport the 'stache

It is so hard to choose. I love the Oberlin, too. And I'm partial to all of the Matty cards, but here are a few that are less frequently discussed:

Mine is Walter Johnson's portrait.

However, there is something about Sherry Magee's portrait
that appeals to me. I guess it is because every time I see
the Magee card, it reminds me of the Magie error, I once
had, but regretably sold......Besides he is a Philadelphia
Phillie.
