50K...reserve has been met...it looks like this tin will sell! IT definitely seems this poor economy...and impending double dip recession has produced some amazing new highs in prices realized for bb cards and collectibles...
AMAZING!

Ah, but the bid appears to have been retracted. Looks like someone went fishing to see what the reserve was.

They're not alone. The number of retracted bids on this is ridiculous.

Like I said above, probably a great tin, smelly auction. And I am not blaming the seller, necessarily, for the crappy smell....but it's there.

Somebody's still fishing for the reserve. I'm guessing it's $50K. I wouldn't mind the $49K though

Default BIDDING WAR on Ebay - Ty Cobb Tin

At one point it was $50,000 reserve met. Then another retraction brought it back down to $49,950.00. Item eventually didn't sell. None of the seller's auction were viewable. Too scary for me.

If i'm bidding on this, laying down that kind of money, i'm watching this every day. So like all of us know the reserve was $50,000. How could the last bidder not go that extra $50 when one is willing to go that high? This was a very interesting auction.
