i have 2 1962 auravision mickey mantle 33 rpm records, i have a set of these, but one of the mantles i was told was a rare issue. my ? is, was this set produced after 1962? the reason i ask is that one of the mantles has stats up to 1963, the other that goes with my set only up tp 1961, .....i will attach a scan of both mantles for viewing.

mantle swinging has sats up to 1961
mantle with hand off bat has stats up tp 1963.....both have a 1962 copyright

please als notice the rpm-(upper left corner) one has 33 the other 33 1/3?

there is a 1962 set and a 1964 set,the copyright was taken out in 1962. the top one scanned (1962) is worth more. this is not off topic at all.

It amazes me how many sellers on eBay show 1964 Auravision records and describe them in both the title and description as 1962. I'll send them emails to check the stats on the back, and they'll respond that they knew they went up through '63, but the copyright said '62, so they're sticking with that. Aaauuuuggghhh!

The '62s are much harder to find than the '64s. Mantle, Gentile, and Colavito have different pictures in '62 than they do in '64; the others (I believe) are the same. Mantle is shown above. Gentile and Colavito are both shown as A's in '64, but on the Orioles and Tigers respectively in '62. 1962 has eight records; 1964 has 16.

Price differential isn't as much as it should be. It's just REALLY hard to find '62s.
