Wonder why Beckett says "we don't know why he is suing us all these years later"

This happened in 2016 and 2017(Ed having lunch and discussing the contracts and jersey)

not like this was a decade ago like Beckett makes it out to be

There's not a lot of gray area here; one of the two parties is flat out lying.

So did Kranepool give the jersey to Goodwin ? If he did, what happened to it ?

Another possibility.....was it actually someone pretending to be Bill Goodwin?

There wasn't a contract on such a jersey? I would assume that Beckett has a contract or form for every consignment no matter how expensive or from whom, just as you have you have to fill out a form/contract for a card to be graded.

$20,000 for a list of player contacts. Is that something an auction company would actually shell out that amount of money for?

I'm wondering if that might be the most likely scenario.

+1 Sadly I doubt Mr Kranepool has a leg to stand on without any proof of the transaction.

Its kind of hard to believe they would rip off a well known player on such an easy to track item. On the other hand maybe the fact that there was no contract was too tempting. Sad story either way.

Hey Guys
Since this thread is running in parallel with the one on the front page

http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=257287

I am going to lock this one. That way it can be more consolidated conversation. If anyone has an issue with it PM me...thanks
