Default Need help IDing this Cub

I have researched all my material and can not find this person. I date the era to 1941-45 due to Cubs logo. I can not find a Rich Smith anyplace either as a player or a coach. I think this might be a Jim Rowe postcard.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jim. You accidentally posted in the wrong section (buy/sell/trade). Try reposting in the memorabilia section. You’ll get some help there.

Default Richard Paul “Red” Smith

Coach for the Cubs in 1945-48. He is included in the 1943-44 Grand Studios Milwaukee Brewers sets. Played one ML game in 1927. You can find his vitals at retrosheet.com

Tim,
Thank you. I saw Red Smith but did not associate it with this picture,
Thanks again.
