Default 1940 Dodgers ball? Value and is it real?

Someone on another forum posted this and I am just trying to help him out. I have no information other than him stating he thinks it is the 1940 Brooklyn Dodgers. Any help on Value, and the best way to sell it. Thank you for your help.

Looks good to me.

As to value, the cracking on the ball hurts it a bit, but most of the signatures are fairly bold. Two colors of pen also hurt a bit. Some decent star power with Medwick and an early Reese.

My best guesstimate on value would be $150-200. A cleaner ball might have been $250-300.

Vosmik and Casey are two nice signatures on that one.
