Default What's the story behind this screwup (Miscut)

Not only is it miscut top to bottom, (2 different cards; Tucker Frederickson/Greg Landry) but it also was printed with the sheet slanted. Weird looking. How did this get out? Was the printer on drugs? All four corners have 90% angles.

It's amazing how poor quality is when you have (HAD) a monopoly ...

I have some of those as well. Quality control was not a big emphasis at Topps back then.

This may belong here.. tho not quite as bad.. just the card itself is miscut.. The length is almost 3 5/8" ..wonder if it was cut from a sheet, or just bad cut at the shop..

I used to collect miscut 48 leaf cards, I was trying to see how the sheet laid out. That was fun

I've picked up a few that fit together--kind of fun.

I guess I was a kid that would destroy that possibility. When I got miscuts, I was annoyed and into the garbage they went.
