Default Pepper Davis Signed Ball from 1931?

There was an error in title Its pepper martin not Davis sorry. I was cleaning out a box of stuff I bought at a estate sale and I found this.

Wondering what you guys think about it? Its probably nothing but, don't want to dismiss it with out hearing from you guy

This is wild speculation but perhaps this is a foul ball from Pepper Martin. Definitely not signed.
