Hopefully someone more qualified will chime in, but I don't like the Foxx, Collins, or Traynor signatures....this would be a great opportunity to send over to Jim and make a $20 donation.

Ditto on the Durocher, Hartnett, Cochrane and Cronin. Looks bad all around.

They're all bad.

(I was about to say "save your twenty bucks," but that would be wrong. Make the donation.)

Even Vandy appears to be forged!
This letter was signed within two weeks of the date of this "signed" dinner
program. You be the judge....

Default Seriously!!

My knowledge on Hall of Famers is minimal. However, looking at the signatures it looks like they were done recently with a steel tipped pen and not a fountain pen. There is too much feathering or migration of the ink which would probably not have occured if it was signed back then. Also, notice the severe inconsistency in the thickness of the letters such as in Mickey Cochrane which also looks drawn. I also see some hesistation which a person signing their own name would not encounter, see the 'Q' in Bob Quinn. I respect the knowledge the other members have with these particular signatures. I looked at it just for the signatures and not necessarily who they were.

Cheers,
Michael

Wow those are all terribly 'drawn' and done slowly at that. Sigs don't look anything like the real deal. Collins is terrible, Cronin looks nothing like his, "G" in Gabby is so poorly/slowly drawn, like everyone else stated, all bad.

Default Sellers Answer

I contacted the seller to let them know these were not real and here is the answer they gave me: "Thank you for the information. We will let the winning bidder take as long as necessary and stand behind our guarantee.
Thank you for your interest,
Lisa"

Oh well.

Sounds like they really appreciated your input , sometimes it difficult to articulate what they are really trying to say....let me translate

Thank you for the information = I wish you had not called , the less I know the better

We will let the winning bidder take as long as nessesary and stand behind our guarantee = We will pray the winning bidder has no communication with the outside World and is very elderly. As long as the hoops are high enough and they are not good jumpers we are good to go

Thank you for your interest= F you... for your unsolicitated involvement

I asked the buyer and he told me he hadn't sent it to PSA or jsa yet and has certain concerns about it.

LOL, well, he's getting warmer...I wonder why he went from confident in JSA's opinion (or whoever) to having concerns suddenly. I guess at this rate, he will be downright livid sometime around Tuesday.
