Default Family/Group Photo - Years In The Making

Been waiting for this photo for years... Wish the centering on the 51s could get better but these are the best I have come across. So pumped to have just added the 52T Say Hey via ebay!

That photo is like someone showing their friends a naked pic of their very hot girlfriend or wife. We love seeing it, but it makes everyone jealous as all hell!!!!!!!!!!

MattyC that is an incredible family photo. I think JollyElm put it in proper perspective. Just out of curiosity how long did it take you to put this together from start to finish? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, fellas. The desire to have all four began in 2009 when I acquired my first 52T Mick. I then added the RC in late 2012, the new 52T Mick and the others this year.

On the topic of desired pairings that were hard to make come together, this is a duo shot that took much longer but was also even more rewarding; it required locating a centered Ruth RC without the dreaded horizontal print line that was not a high grade-- and I was beginning to think that was a chimera. What was almost as hard was getting my hands on the true 1925 tint Gehrig rookie card, as many of the Gehrig rookies are mislabeled as 1925 when they are really the 1926 tint version. I figured there might be only a literal handful of the Ruths I wanted (in terms of the specific grade and aesthetic attributes), and meanwhile the pop on the Gehrig is pretty damn low as well including all grades and all companies.

Amazing cards! That's my favorite of the two Mantle variations too.

Thanks,
