Default Is there anything wrong with this?

Just curious why there are no bids and only an hour remaining. Just curious if anything seems fishy, he has a lot of positive feedback. I'm considering throwing out $90-$100. Worth it?

Looks good to me; not something someone would put in a case to defraud someone for that average of a condition.

Cards like that BVG Jackie slip through the cracks all the time. Well centered, great image, sometimes even worthy of a higher grade. Those are exactly the cards I like! And as John said so well above-- you can bet a card like that is pure and legit.

Thank you for the reply MattyC. Is it ok being graded by SGC? I ask because from what I've read having vintage cards graded by PSA is the way to go. What about this one? Last one I promise http://www.ebay.com/itm/1954-Topps-J...item1e90be0568

That SGC is too OC for my taste but that's a personal choice. That 1954 PSA 4 Jackie looks beautiful-- hold on while I set one of my thermonuclear snipes for it...just kidding. All yours. Great card. Why pay for a 7 or 8 when raw side by side that card can hang? I dream of three dead even sized white borders on my 54s but that is realistically top notch centering for a 54. Look at the bright, clean, unblemished yellow on that background-- I better stop before I talk myself into winning it

Also, don't sweat the holder or company; buy the best looking card for the right price and if the card is accurately or under graded you can get it in whichever company slab you want later. If I see a card I want that is dead centered and legit I don't care if it is SGC or PSA. For uniformity with my Post War I usually wind up crossing down the line.

Just looking for an opinion as I don't know much about this stuff and it's a gift for my nephew. Year doesn't matter, just want the best deal/condition. If you had to choose , in your opinion, which would you take? I thank you very much for your help sir. Greatly appreciated

I think the 54 is the pick of the bunch. 56 BVG was great too. Can't comment on price as the 54 is an active auction so who knows where it ends up. PSA 4s average around 115 but have sold for as high as 150 and as low as 85.

You might want to consider using a sniping service such as http://www.gavelsnipe.com/

Basically you enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay and the software bids for you at the last second. It's free, it's simple and you don't have to be around, or awake.
