Default Anybody Have an Over Abundance of 80's Donruss and Fleer

Putting together sets with my son, of the 80's Fleer and Donruss.
Mostly needing help with 1983 Fleer and both Fleer and Donruss of 84 (he already has Mattingly).
But would also buy a lot of both fleer and donruss from 81 thru 87.
Been watching MLB network with him and showing him the greats of the 80's.
Please let me know what you have and what you need for them.
Thanks guy.

Hi Guy
i JUST listed a set of 1984 DONRUSS TEAM SETS on Net 54 b/s/t
selling for $10 per team includes free shipping
would work better deals if you buy more than 1 team
thanks David

Not to sound like a dick,
But $10 per team, there were 26 teams in 1984, that's $260!!
I can go buy the set on EBAY for $70.

I hear what your saying and your 100% ,
as many people do not want to pay that much the whole set ,and as always a full set goes for much much less , than one thats broken up.
also I include free shipping and you know exactly what cards are included
remember one can only ask if you need only one team I am your guy
FYI sold 4 teams sets so far
still got 22 teams left may not hit 260 but will net more than 70

No waitlist as pretty much, need the entire 83 fleer and 84 Fleer n Donruss sets.
The other years, we are just wanting to improve our collection with the amount of them they we can.
In other words, a big lot!

I've got an 84 Fleer set missing only Goose Gossage. Is that too close to complete for you?

Is that statement truthful or was it an inside joke, hard to tell.

Why don't we ask Wes?

Hey Wes, have you ever not paid for cards sent to you? Hey Wes, have you ever used your son as a crutch to get free cards?

Hmmm...I don't think John was joking here, but we can all wait for Wes's response.

It's amazing how many people you can piss off just by screwing two or three.

I knew it would be crickets as soon as you chimed in, John.

I bet Wes just changed his mind on collecting these cards and isn't even checking the thread anymore, that's probably why he isn't responding. I guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for Wes...

Wes won't be responding here as he has his own user group- Banned From BST .....He can still post on the board but won't be able to access this side of it. That is at least the minimum until more is found out. I never saw this thread until a PM just now from a kind member. We don't need no bad apples over here....and considering banishment altogether.

I know I have sent people cards before from requests like this one only to see them being sold on eBay later. I still send people free stuff just not to any that ask for it.

Wes is getting the hammer dropped on him now, but I remember he had several of these posts, looking for Philadelphia Football cards etc... Another member was collecting a 65 football set with his daughter and a similar incident arose. I guess my question is two-fold. Was Wes paying for / giving back to those who helped him in the past, or is this just the first time he is being called on this? My other thought is that as much as I hate this kind of stuff, people like Wes have many members help them out, so why stop. Kinda like a homeless guy asking for money, if he keeps getting it, why would he stop asking or go to a different street corner. ( for the record I honestly do try to help out homeless on the street, but not interested in sending cards to people who are working on sets with their kids). I guess what I'm trying to say is that it seems Wes might be a level and a half below common street trash, but we the members spurred on this behavior.

As far as I know he is strictly a world class moocher with no quid pro quo.
