Default What do you think...should I go for it?

A '52 Campos black star is up on heritage auctions. I'd LOVE to have this card for my set, and I like the price point, but the condition is obviously problematic.

But when it comes to such a scarce error card, do you suppose the condition can be forgiven for the uniqueness of the card?

bottom looks stained and the white dots on his nose and near eyes are not at all appealling....and not for 500(inc B/P)
even if it says: Guide Value or Estimate: $900 - up.
I think i can find something else to put that $$$ on or save for a better one or wait till the market slums down.

Default 52 Campos

If you think you will be tempted to upgrade it at some point, I would wait. If you think this one would permanently satisfy your set needs I'd go for it

Thanks guys, your advice is enough for me. I'd love to own the Campos black star, but I'll wait for a nicer one.

Much appreciated!
