Naw, a Pat's fan. It was a response to that injury comment...

Near-forgotten fact, Before the Boston Pats entered the league in 1960, NY Giants WERE New Englands' team and remained a region favorite for quite a while after. Though they're dying off, there is still remnants of an *active fan club around Boston.

Not new-age, transplants or wash ashore's from NYC, but elder native Bostonians. Our little secret please

Yeah, Steve, I live in Connecticut and can't believe how many people are both Boston Red Sox fans and NY Giants fans. Just doesn't seem right hee hee.

Barry, I think that'd be one boring game if the score ended 6-4! Of course it'd like mean alot of QB sacks though, so that'd be good!

No chance for the Giants. You'll have to wait for the Mets to have a shot against Boston to raise the Fun City Flag. After the Sox moider the Yanks in the ALCS.

Secret 'Headquarters' of the rebels where the tea party was planned and after the English occupied Boston, plans for the march to Lexington/Concord was uttered by a British officer and forwarded by the tavern keeper to Brothers Sam Adams and Revere.

Joe, shut up The original patriots were considered by the Crown to be traitorous, double-crossing rabble who should all hang for treason... Can't complain about those heroes now, can we?

DD, been by there often, but tobacco smoke makes me wheezy (how macho eh?). We do frequent the North End when wifee gets a great rate at Longwharf. It's in a world by itself. Our favorite eats is the small, unasuming Massimino's cucina (on Endicott) by the Garden. Find a quiet table down in the dark wine cellar.

"This episode represents a calculated and deliberate attempt to avoid longstanding rules designed to encourage fair play and promote honest competition on the playing field," Goodell said in a letter to the Patriots.

Only chance the Giants have is if they can put pressure on Brady -- which they have already shown they cannot.

Sadly, Pats 31 Giants 17

Hmmm.

A choice between a team that is undefeated and under a cloud of suspicion for cheating and a team, that if they beat the other team, is from a mediaopolis which will never stop bragging about the game and how great their team is despite it playing in another state.

My prediction:

The undefeated team's tape man suddenly has a heart attack, dies and the tape is then taken to the commissioner's booth for review/disposal. The commissioner is then caught redhanded and resigns on the spot. MLB commissioner Bud Selig then takes over, declares the game a tie and wipes out the salary cap for next year.

A little blast from the not-so-distant past: What effect would a Patriots' blowout victory over the Giants have on the current prices of Frank Gifford cards?
