Default Question on "Ruth Type" bats

I recently came across two bats. One was an Adirondack and I can't recall the maker of the other. Both, on the barrel, say "Ruth Type" instead of a player's name. They appear to be 50's or 60's era bats. I realize some pictures would help, but I can't post any right now. Do these bats have any value? I couldn't find any comparables on eBay.

Yes they have value.. full size, 34 inches or longer would be more desirable. In excellent condition they are in the 60-100 range. In off condition, the value drops pretty quick.

I went back and picked these bats up. The Adirondack is in poor condition, probably worth very little. The other bat, also not in great condition, is a "Joe Engel Bat Company" bat. I know Joe Engel was a ballplayer, but couldn't find anything on his bat company.

Posting pics and length/weight of each will probably get you more help than verbal descriptions, now that you have the bats in hand.

Yeah I'll definitely do that sometime this week. They are pretty rough.

Are Joe Engel bats scarce?

Here are the bats, in case anyone was interested in seeing them.

Like I said, they're not in great shape.
