Post Recently Discovered 1953 Topps Bob Feller "Mustache Card"

For a good laugh, check out Leland Lot #248: https://lelands.com/bids/bidplace?itemid=87406

My favorite quote of the write-up is, "When reached for comment Joe Orlando of PSA texted, "I am CEO of a public company now and have no time for this bulls--t." While SGC owner Dave Forman emailed, "Why are you like this?"". Classic.

Leland's seems to be a 'joke' themselves now...good grief...that's pathetic!

Pathetic would be more along the lines of being a humorless fellow.

I think it's pretty cool that they'd use that card as a headliner for a lot of somewhat worn cards.

Yeah, I guess someone looking to put together a low-grade set would happily pay twice market value for that lot, given the over-the-top creativity of the descriptor.

They're a bunch of beaters, which all can see, so why not have some fun with it.

The opening bid was $1, which I think is well under market value.

since it's at 51 as I write this, I suppose it's proven that someone will pay extra.
