Default January 2022 Pickups

Happy New Year!

After trading my last one off towards a '52 Mantle, I'm happy to be back in the Mays rookie camp. Thanks to my buddy Pjere for the trade on it.

D’oh! Sorry Darren, I looked before I started this one and simply missed it. Apologies.

And ‘63 is the best looking Koufax in my opinion, and that is a BEAUTIFUL example Dean!

Very nice. If there is a better overall production from Topps than their 1956 effort, I'm not sure what it is...

Got the seller images from SGC and the cards are back on the way. I have another raw Enos in the same condition, but waiting for SGC to decrease in price and also not grade vintage so hard. The Mantle has paper loss on stats and multiple creases on the front. However, it is my only Mantle solo card and I love the way it presents on the front. I think a SGC 1 should have been the grade with the paper loss on the back.

A late December purchase/January delivery.

I was real concerned with this one initially due to the shape/condition it is in but it measures perfectly and there are no hidden flaws that I can see.
Real happy with this one, and likely one of my best 52 Topps cards, centering aside, that I own.

1971 Topps are so tough, but this one looks pretty nice for a 6:

Just getting started with vintage, but am happy to add this one:

This is the year he became Koufax. First Cy Young, NL MVP, World Series MVP, Triple Crown, First No-hitter, Peak Single Season WAR, etc…

Loving the '63 Sandys. Mine (raw) is nicely centered, but probably only VG-ish technically due to corner wear. I had wanted to pick one up in a 5.5 or a 6, but seems like this card along with everything else in the bubble skyrocketed at some point over the last few years. Great cards everyone...

The Year He Became Koufax. I like that, you could write a book and use your card for the cover.

Awesome Koufax! A tough card to find with nice eye appeal. Your's is a keeper.

Have this one on the way. Another toughie to find centered with nice registration.

I think I'd be fonder of this set if all the cards had the light brown border.
