159... Missed obvious ones such as Tris Speaker, Mickey Cochrane, Lefty Gomez, Duke Snider, Juan Marichal, Warren Spahn, Pee Wee Reese, Willie Stargell & Robin Yount.. at least these are the ones I am kicking myself for not remembering.

Edit to add.. Knowing my Cardinals Hall Of Famers helped a lot..

God, I'm an idiot. How do I miss Bob Feller when I just got a 1956 Topps Feller in four days ago.

Missed Hornsby, too.

lol, me too on spelling Yaz.

After a while I stopped reading the chart and just starting typing in every HOFer that came to mind.

Scores can also be affected by how good a person is as a typist.

I work for an auction house and I do a lot of these quizzes to keep me up on my Hall of Famers. That way when we get a large collection, I can sort through it much quicker....plus, it's very fun I also do this for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Not steroids...just practice. As a die-hard Orioles fan....I do the following for fun....

I know this is pathetic, but I kept seeing the players cards in my mind before I could remember their names.

Really pathetic score of 113 for me. I did it on my iphone, so was at a huge disadvantage. I went from '50s-90s thinking of each player's rookie card to get me going. Then worked the 40s, 30s, etc. started freaking out about time so lost my focus when I got to the 1880s-1920s.

The quiz didn't work so well on the phone. I would type in Ted Williams and it filled in Ted, Billy, Dick and Smokey Joe but only gave me credit for one. I think my score would have been a bit higher otherwise. Plus I was immediately thrown off when I typed in Torre, then Maddux and got no credit for either. That's why they teach you to read the instructions before starting. I lost a minute trying to figure out where I went wrong. Then I started spouting off umpires, which did me no good!!

Good mental exercise for sure. I've tried thinking of all 306 HOFers while driving into work, so was disappointed w/ my results. Especially since HOF rookie collecting is my game. I should know them all inside and out!

Incredible that someone got 252! Nice accomplishment. Did the quiz tell you that you either (a) cheated or (b) work for an Auction House after you finished?

That's funny, I did exactly that! Then I stared at it for awhile before I typed in Schmidt, but then the name disappeared so I typed it in again. THEN I figured out what was going on.

Wound up with 93, and pictures of another 20 players without names in my head.

You guys are machines. My pitiful score of 99 landed me in the 57th percentile. Key misses include Willie Mays and Rickey Henderson. Thanks for posting this.
