The box with both catalogs might be the heaviest I have ever received from an AH. So much eye candy..

I won something from a Heritage Auction this month. Should I expect to get a Heritage Catalog or do I have to order it?

I think they send automatically depending on the value of your recent bids, not necessarily just your wins. Just don't know what that figure is.

Not to side track the heritage catalog, but I think it will be interesting to see how the HA Lenox Cobb does compared to the Memory Lane one.

Heritage Cobb
Memory Lane Cobb

The one in Memory Lane has creases on the left side top and bottom. Also seems to have paper missing on corner. How it got a 3 i don't know.

Heck, I even like the box the catalogs came in! I will use the box to house current/future pickups and when it's full, off to the bank we go!

Default Heritage?

Heritage auctions? Never heard of them. They sound like kind of a big deal. Maybe I should check them out.
They really have a Lenox Cobb?
I have heard rumblings of such a card over on the BST side of Dodge

And it looks like his biggest prior sale on eBay was for the Breaking Bad DVD set.

For some reason I only received the Memorabilia catalog and not the one with cards. Did this happen to anyone else? Definitely the wrong catalog of the two for my interests.

For some reason I seem to remember hearing that to have Heritage put you on their catalog mailing list you had to have put in bids of at least $1,000 (bids, not wins) on their auctions in the last year or two.

IF a board member wants a catalog I think we can make it happen. Anyone not get one, and want one, please PM me and I will see if I can help? I know some folks over there...

Leon is correct. Heritage was really good to me when they found out I wanted a catalog.

Correct, I think they have an algorithm plus some hands on information to make their decisions on shipping catalogs. Our board gets some special treatment.

There's definitely more to it than the $1000 criteria. I've spent a lot more than that, but didn't receive a catalog this time.

Default Heritage Catalogs

I've reached out to everyone in this thread who has not received a catalog. To keep getting catalogs all we ask that people participate in the catalog auctions. Placing a min. of $1,000 in bids in each of the catalog auctions - not the monthly auctions - will put you on the list for future catalogs. If someone tells you that you have to win something, that is not true. Also, just a reminder:

If you move, you do need to update your account.

If you choose to flag your account to not receive our mailings... this will include catalogs.

If you would like a catalog, just email me: peterc@ha.com.

Thank you for your participation and Good Luck!

Peter

Just insane to me how much they spend on these catalogs. My wife is speechless when they arrive on the front steps with a thud. And by the time they arrive I've been through the auction on the Internet 4 times already. Beautiful though.
