Default For sale: 1965 'The Sports Trader' issues / Charles 'Buck' Barker SOLD OUT

Posted By: Rob D.

UPDATE: All issues have been sold. Thanks to all who expressed interest and made purchases.

I have a small number of issues of The Sports Trader from 1965 (and one from 1970) that are from the collection of hobby pioneer Charles "Buck" Barker. A scan of one of the fronts is below, and the other scan is of the mailing area on the back cover of two different issues. You'll see on one Barker's address was hand-written, and on the other it was typed. Each issue that I'm selling is addressed to Barker.

As you would expect, The Sports Trader was simply done. Each issue has between 16 and 32 pages. Mostly composed of cool ads, some articles, letters to the editor, etc. If you're at all familiar with the history of our hobby, you'll recognize a lot of names in the ads. I've really enjoyed looking through them.

Cost per issue is $25 each delivered. If you're looking for specific dates, let me know.

Checks or money orders only. If we've done business before or I recognize you from the board, I'll ship the day after we reach a deal to make up for the no-PayPal-delay. E-mails take priority.

Thanks, Rob.
