Default Opinion on Honus Wagner

This signed 1941 reds program signed by honus Wagner arrived today. Wanted to see what your thoughts were before spending money on Psa. I can get my money back if it's not thought to be authentic. It also has Ernie Lombardi, Dutch dietz, and rip Sewell.

Horrible.

Not only does it not look like Wagner's signature, unlike most signatures where the forgeries are signed slowly, this one was signed too quickly - Wagner had a slower, more deliberate signature than most people.

Edited to add: by 1941 his signature was approaching it's slowest.

It looks nothing at all like the 1940s Honus signatures I have had, not even close. And as Scott said, it's signed with speed, which it really shouldn't be as his signature at that point was quite deliberate and slower.

Well it looks like it's pretty unanimous . I guess I'll have a little more money to spend on Christmas as long as the money back guarantee holds .

I will defer to the others on the authenticity of the signature. What I noticed is that this looks like flair pen not fountain pen which, of course would make it fake.
