Default I have gas: the official postwar gas and oil card thread

Cards. Some of my favorite issues are oil and gas related.

Here's a fun premium from around 1970:

1968 Atlantic Oil. Fifty cards, game pieces from a service station give-away. 40 cards are readily located, but are condition rarities in anything approaching ex or better



because they were distributed in two piece packets that had to be torn open and that tended to have glue slopped across the borders. Then there are the winning cards. Ten of those money shots, some probably 1 of 1s. I've only ever seen three of the ten:

Similar idea; not as well executed IMO.

Lots of Union 76 gas promos from the 1960s -1970s for the Dodgers. I got this one signed by Vin Scully at a visit to the stadium in the 'aughts (boy do I miss him):
