Default This is going to end up poorly for the winner..Babe Ruth card

Fantasy piece with another, different one, being sold by the same seller. Not even close...

and it's getting more and more bids. This is sort of upsetting. Whomever buys this crap is going to be pissed when they find out it's fake.

For a fake...I think it's actually kinda cool! It is reminiscent of 30's exhibits...especially those(can't remember the designation) that look like exhibits cut into quarters.

Caveat Emptor...I mean if someone expects to be buying a red sox era ruth card for this $$$$$...they're crazy?!

The auction got shut down. Kudo's to them.

Now, if it was being sold as a fantasy piece that isn't real, I would have no problem with it. And as that kind of piece it might be worth $5-$15 to someone.

all the bidders canceled their bids? Was it fake bidding? or did the buyers all figure out the card wasn't worth it?

The seller cancelled the bids and ended the listing, presumably after learning (from someone on this board) that his offering was fake.
