Default 1951 Topps Red Back - cards and wrapper

Posted By: Joe D.

I posted this a while back (but I can't find the post to bump).

This is still available. Two cards and the wrapper.

1951 Topps Red Back.

I opened an unopened pack.
So, for sale are the two cards and the wrapper.

$55 delivered, insured, paypal is okay.

Anything you're looking for that you'd be willing to trade these for? I have many 1952-1968 Topps cards...stars,commons, varying conditions...if you're willing to trade and have specific needs/wants. Let me know! lepry@yahoo.com

Leslie,

I am open to a trade - but I don't really collect the 50s stuff.

Do you have anything pre-war in that value range?

If not... if you have a site or list of some available stuff - I will take a look and let you know.

Sound good?

email me -

Regards,
Joe

Joe / Leslie,

Maybe the three of us can work something out. I am just starting out with collecting some 50's Topps cards and have plenty of holes to fill.

Leslie, perhaps I can buy this 'lot' from Joe, and trade it to you for some of your 50's / 60's Topps stuff? If that'll work, email me with what you've got available, and we can go from there.

Regards,

Richard.

And I can ship directly to Leslie (after payment from you).

Its up to Leslie and you to decide if there is something that can be worked out (but its an okay from me).

Regards,
Joe

Leslie -- response sent.

Joe -- that would work perfectly. We'll keep you posted, and, if we finalize something, I'll PayPal you immediately.

Regards,

Richard.

Leslie -- just re-sent the response. I sent it to both addresses, so hopefully it will arrive at one of them.

Please let me know if you received it.

Leslie -- just in case there are still email trouble, I got your response and wrote back late last night (deal sounds good, but would like to see scans before finalizing).

Richard.

This is like eavesdropping on a conversation but you can never quite strain hard enough to hear the details!

So can anyone share what the trade was!!!???

PS - JoeD - You should see payment via paypal shortly on the balance of our deal, if that method is still ok with you... -Jason

Hey Jason,

When I read the title to your post, I figured you were going to say that all of the "I emailed you" and "I responded to your email" posts were what was killing you.

Anyway, here's how it all shakes out: Obviously money went to Joe and the 1951s (with wrapper) went to Leslie. To complete the deal, Leslie is sending me a few Topps cards, including a '67 Mays, a couple of '54s (Valo & Black) and a "short stack" of '68 Topps cards (which I can't name, as I won't actually know which cards until the package arrives).

Regards,

Richard.
