Default The 1948 Mathewson Topps Magic Photo on eBay

Any tips on this card? I don't have one of these, yet, so I'm drooling.

And, it look like "sloatsports" has over 500 positive feedback comments and no negatives.

Opinions?

Dan--This is a store just about ten miles from my house. The business name is Sam Sloat Coins, but they sell cards and memorabilia also. I have purchased supplies and modern cards from them in the past and they are great to deal with-real nice people. Hope that helps. Good luck with the card.

I actually thought this issued dated to 1949, not 1948, but no matter.

This is probably the only issue you would ever buy whereby you are pretty much guaranteed that some young child hawked a loogie on your card....
