Default Who signed this 1999 All Star Game Used Ball?

Hello,

Looking to identify a couple signatures on my 1999 MLB All Star Game Used Ken Griffey Jr Homerun ball. Obviously Griffey's signature is first on the side panel, followed by Mike Mussina. I am having trouble identifying the third signature (maybe Bagwell) as well as the sharpie signature on a separate panel. Ball is currently for sale, but I am in need of identifying the other signatures to fill my description. Thank you for your help!

Bryan

Who told you it was a Griffey home run ball?

Here are the additional photos of the ball, along with the ticket. It is from the 1999 Homerun Derby, as all contestants had their initials inscribed on the sweet spot to identify who hit the ball.

The sharpie auto looks like I could be Charles Nagy.

I agree as well, it's Pudge. Nagy is a good guess on the sharpie signature, but I'm not 100% on that one still. Hopefully others can decipher...Thanks to everybody for the input!

This one is bugging me. That large hook at the beginning of the 2nd name I know I've seen before. I just can't place it.

Is it possible that it could have been from someone who was pitching to the hitter in the HR derby and isn't necessarily on the roster?

This ball belonged to me. I got it certified by PSA a few years ago and sold it on eBay for $100. Funny how it became a Ken Griffey Jr. Home run ball. How could anyone know that? The person I bought it from certainly did not say that.

Sharpie sig looks more like a rushed Matt Williams to me. Definitely not Nagy.

Another member messaged me stating that he feels fairly confident that the sharpie signature is none other than Red Sox legend Carlton Fisk! What do you guys think? After comparing it to other Fisk autographs, it looks fairly identical but maybe just a bit rushed?

I'm not seeing Carlton Fisk, sorry. Do you happen to have a response to JoeD's post?

Fisk was my very first thought when I saw it.

I purchased this ball from a "professional" ball retriever who had an extensive collection of game used balls and had done an abundant amount of research regarding these 1999 Home Run Derby balls. He explained all the characteristics such as the "mudding", players initials (which match any other balls I've ever seen offered from this event), etc. that definitely would relate this ball to one that Griffey hit into the packed crowd at Fenway Park. Definitely a plus to have signatures from the event as well, which can verify it being there that evening. The balls that did not make it into the stands via HR were not thrown into the stands and ended up back into the infield after it had been retrieved.

But how do you know it was hit for a homerun compared to one that just went to the infield or outfield for an out?

The professional ball retriever bought it from me for $100 so I hope you didn't pay much more than that.

I've never seen a Fisk that looks remotely like this one.

If it's Fisk, it's super rushed. I guess I can see it a little but not 100% convinced.....
